How backup works
QuietVault creates an encrypted backup protected by a recovery password you choose. You decide where to save it.
What you can do
Removing QuietVault or clearing its app data can remove the active vault. Save a portable encrypted backup to Files, a document provider, an external drive or another safe place.
Prepare an encrypted backup with clear progress and cancellation.
Choose a destination outside QuietVault.
Send the encrypted backup to a trusted location using the system share menu.
Choose a saved backup, enter its recovery password and follow restore progress.
Keep the recovery password separate and confirm the saved file remains available.
Never send the recovery password with the backup file.
Good for
QuietVault protects the copy you place inside the vault. If you keep the original elsewhere, manage that copy separately.

No. Restoring a purchase unlocks eligible paid features; it does not restore private files.
