Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of QuietVault and its local encrypted vault features.

Using QuietVault

You are responsible for using QuietVault lawfully and only for content you own or are permitted to store. You are responsible for safeguarding your device, vault credential and recovery password.

Local storage and recovery

QuietVault stores the active vault in app-controlled local storage. Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, device loss or storage failure can remove that vault.

A purchase restoration does not restore vault files. Create a portable encrypted backup outside QuietVault before uninstalling, resetting or changing devices.

Premium Lifetime

QuietVault Premium Lifetime is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Pricing and transaction processing are controlled by the applicable app store.

Ownership does not transfer between different stores. Restore Purchases requires the same store account that owns the purchase.

Preview and platform services

Preview, biometric unlock, file selection, sharing and purchases depend on your device and operating system. Some files may look or play differently across devices.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use QuietVault to violate law or another person's rights
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits
  • Keep independent copies of content you cannot afford to lose

Additional terms for Apple users

Apple is not responsible for QuietVault or its content. Your use is also subject to the applicable App Store terms and Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement where it applies.
