1. Who we are
QuietVault is a local-first privacy utility developed by Lunexa Labs. This policy explains how the current accountless QuietVault release handles information when you use the app or this website.
Questions can be sent to support@quietvaultapp.com. Never email private vault files, credentials, recovery secrets, purchase tokens or receipts containing sensitive information.
2. Local vault data and encryption
Files added to QuietVault, their vault metadata, organization data and generated thumbnails are stored locally on your device. Vault content is encrypted at rest within the app's local storage boundary. QuietVault does not provide a hosted cloud vault in the current release.
Encryption reduces risk but cannot eliminate every threat. Device compromise, weak credentials, operating-system vulnerabilities, unsafe exports or loss of recovery material can still expose or make data unavailable.
3. Files, metadata, previews and temporary material
QuietVault processes selected filenames, file types, folder and tag organization, favorites, archive state, thumbnails and supported extracted text to provide local vault features. Protected previews and temporary viewer or import files are managed inside platform-specific app storage and are intended to be removed when no longer needed.
Exported files and backups leave the vault's managed storage. You control where they are saved and are responsible for protecting them after export.
4. Device permissions
QuietVault requests access only when a feature needs it. Depending on your platform and action, this can include camera access for document scanning, photo-library or media-picker access, file-picker access, biometric authentication and notifications or storage access where required by the operating system.
Biometric matching is performed by the device operating system. QuietVault receives an authentication result and does not receive your fingerprint or face template.
5. Purchases and native platform traffic
QuietVault Premium Lifetime is processed by the applicable app store. Google Play, Apple and other platform providers may process account, payment, device, receipt and purchase-verification information under their own policies. QuietVault validates eligible store ownership and keeps a local entitlement state for offline relaunch.
The app may communicate with operating-system and store services needed for downloads, purchase or restore, permissions, crash handling and other user-requested platform functions. These services are outside the local vault encryption boundary.
6. Diagnostics and analytics
The current product is designed to keep sensitive vault content out of diagnostics. If optional diagnostics or crash reporting is presented in your build, it should operate only with the applicable disclosure or consent and must not include filenames, paths, OCR text, tags, folder names, PINs, keys, recovery material, purchase tokens or decrypted content.
This website does not add analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or cookies by default.
7. Retention, deletion and reset
Local vault data remains on your device until you delete items, reset local vault data, clear app storage or uninstall the app. Operating systems may retain device backups, caches or deleted blocks according to their own behavior.
QuietVault has no account-deletion workflow because the current release has no QuietVault account. Use the app's delete or reset controls to remove local content. Uninstalling or clearing app data can permanently remove the vault; a store purchase restore does not restore files.
8. Backup, export and recovery
Supported local backup, export and Recovery Kit workflows are user-controlled. Store recovery files and their passwords or recovery material separately and securely. Lunexa Labs cannot decrypt your vault or recreate forgotten credentials.
Before uninstalling, resetting or moving devices, create and verify a current supported backup. Availability and behavior can vary by platform and app version.
9. Children, international use and legal requirements
QuietVault is a general privacy utility and is not directed to children to create online accounts or submit personal information to us. Parents and guardians should supervise device and file use as appropriate.
The app may be available internationally through third-party stores. Local laws, platform rules and feature availability may differ. We may preserve or disclose limited business or support records when required by law, but we cannot provide plaintext vault contents that we do not possess.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when product behavior, platform requirements or law changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current website copy.
